Keep it safe just like your passport, because when you are returning from Kuwait, you will need to submit this document to immigration. They will keep it, and they won’t give it back. So, take good care of it.
After that, Kuwait immigration authorities will ask you to complete biometric scanning. There’s a separate counter for this. Your fingerprints will be scanned. Since you’re entering on a visit visa, expect some extra time at the airport for this formality — sometimes more than 30 minutes or even up to an hour. So, be mentally prepared and keep some water with you.
Once all immigration, biometric, and visa verification processes are done, you can go to the baggage claim area. Please note that due to the time taken at immigration, your luggage may not be on the belt anymore. Don’t panic — just go to the Lost and Found section near the belt area. Most likely, your luggage will be moved there. This happens often for visit visa holders because of the processing time.
